Modern Warfare 3's Website links to Battlefield 3
Did EA go a bit too far, or was it just a fanboy?

If you go to your browser and type www.modernwarfare3.com you might get quite the surprise.
Ever since EA announced Battlefield 3, they haven't been subtle about trying to bring down Modern Warfare, i mean Battlefield 3's lead designer literally said, that this game has been designed to outmatch Modern Warfare 3, but this is just a bit too much.
With the help of Googles cache of an earlier version on the site, Net Media Now found a video commentary of the MW3 trailer with the words:
- Modern Warfare is crap. On November 8, 2011, the most over-hyped first-person
action series of all-time returns with the copy and paste sequel to the lackluster Call of
Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Check out the E3 2011 gameplay demo featuring the Black
Tuesday level for a look at the epic fail of the campaign. Pre-Order Call of Duty MW3
Today for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC to secure exclusive bonuses only available online for
Modern Warfare 3 fanboys who don't know that Battlefield 3 is the better game. -
This is certainly not the words of a professional company like EA, but instead of a fan. As it seems this fan bought the Modern Warfare 3 domain name before Activision had the chance, very weird that he could do that since you would think Activision would buy every domain name from MW1-10 just to be safe.
