Jet Pack Joy Ride - Review

Strap two mini-guns to your back and you've got yourself a jetpack

This is the concept of Jet Pack Joy Ride, a iPhone game by Halfbrick Studios.


Jet Pack Joy Ride is a classic highscore iPhone game. The objective of the game is to get as far as possible, dodging lasers, missiles and zappers. By touching the screen Barry fires his machine-guns and flies upwards, this is used to dodge the various obstacles and collection the coins.
There are colored boxes floating on the way containing six different vehicles (a tele-porter, a metallic bird, a gravity suit....) these provide a fresh addition to the game.
While playing you will find special coins that will let you use the slot machine, here you can win bounces or the jackpot (took me a hell of a lot of time to get that jackpot picture down below)
The coins you win or collect can be spent in the shop where you can buy cosmetic upgrades, like clothes and jetpacks.

The game is very fun and extremely addictive, since you loose all your coin when you quit the game you just keep on playing until you can afford something cool (like the shark jetpack above)
For $1,- this is just too good to be true, and there are updates too today they added a dragon vehicle.

Crysis 2 Early Multiplayer Review

The Crysis 2 Multiplayer demo just hit Xbox live and i have been playing since By: Frederik Being a fairly large fan of Crysis 1 and Warhead, i was expecting this to be great, and so far it is! This game is like Black Ops on steroids, that mated with the POV camera from Mirrors Edge! The phase is so fast and action packed i don't even know why they added a sniper class, if you sprint and press the crouch button you will slide forward, allowing you to get some extremely cool kills.
